17 Weeks

Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints.

Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.

I had a breakdown last night. The city Gabe is in has actually closed down the schools and had reported cases of Swine Flu. We got off the phone last night and I couldn't stop crying. He is going to start wearing his mask at all times and we will cross our fingers for the best. If he gets it, he will be forced to stay there. I am not even allowing myself to think about that... can't do it. For now he feels fine. He is strong and could make it through, but his Dad couldn't. I just want him home... yesterday!

I am right there with you honey. There was one case reported in the county next to mine. Where my family lives. I am freaking out. I will be praying for Gabe to come home safe and healthy.

Dear Baby Girl...where are you??? I called the house and your cell. Hopefully your just busy at work, and I don't want to call you there right now, for it's hard to hold back the tears right now. YOU don't need me blubburing on the phone right now, which I was just doing talking to my big baby boy. I was begging him to just change his ticket and come home tonight. You know your husband he said "Mama I am fine and it's only a few more days" I said just because you have been a Dare Devil your entire life, KEEP that Damn mask on at all times and wash your hands like there is no tomorrow.

You know how you worry each and everyday about the babies, well it never ends....

Ok, I'm done.....I have and will be praying that God watches over my son and brings him home , safe and free of any illness.

UPDATE: I have been talking to you via Instant message and I feel better. Thinking about all the fun we will have shopping when I get there :) Only 15 more days!!! Can't wait to see all my babies :)

Love you...mean it
