30 Weeks

Today is 30 weeks and I had an OB appointment this morning. All is well and in fact my cervix is measuring around a 2. So it has lengthened a bit from last week. She said even if she was very very conservative on the measuring I am still around a 1.6. Huh? I will take it. I thought we were done with those, but she wanted to do it anyways. I am done with them at the Peri's office.

Noah is head down and Aaden is some what as well. Fluid level was good and cervix is nice and closed. I bought some heartburn medication yesterday and meant to ask her if I could take it and of course I forgot. Does anyone know? I think I bought generic Prilosec. I can't remember the website to check out the drugs. Safebaby or something like that? I am sure one of you will know.

Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)
Our Niece Julia, and our Nephew Gabriel

Diapers, diapers, and more diapers. 2,747 to be exact. We had a diaper raffle at the shower. what a help these will be.

Not a flattering picture, but a glimpse at my days.

The kitties must be on bedrest too.
Getting bigger
I find it hard to go a day without going into the boys room and just day dreaming

You are looking positively fabulous (although I bet you are getting pretty uncomfortable, I sure was at 30 weeks and I was carrying half the load)! And you reached 30 weeks and everything is looking great, how is that for an achievement? Congrats, momma, can't wait to see the pics of those boys (well, I will happily wait a few more weeks, FX there is no NICU time for them at all!).

You look absolutely beautiful!!! From the looks of your tummy I'd say they are both close to 4 pounds.

Love the pictures you put up, looks like all the gifts found a space :)

Your daydreaming in the boy's room is soon to be a reality. I can't wait to see picturs of my twin grandson's sleeping in those cribs.

I didn't realize until I saw the video that I had my grandchildren poking your baby belly. However, at the time we were all having fun (well, maybe not so much you, lol) teaching Julia and Gabriel their soon to be cousins names. By the way they repeated those names off and on all the way back to Tucson :)

So happy to hear all went well at your appointment. I will call you in a bit.

Having my first dinner party in my new place tonight, the only sad part is you and Gabe will not be here!!! I can't believe after a few weeks I will be referring to you guys as Gabe, Tiff and the boys!!! Writing that just brought tears of happiness to my eyes.

Love you....mean it

Very cute pics! Congrats on making it to 30 weeks. As far as the prilosec goes I know it is a class C pregnancy drug. Usually in pregnancy the have you take zantac which you can buy in the 150mg tabs now and is a class B ( which is better than the C)

My doc told me to take Zantac 150. You can buy a decent sized bottle at Walmart (off brand) for $4. It is also by prescription, but the same thing. For me it worked WONDERS! I was so sick of tums and such, and it was to the point where I was throwing up it was so bad, and within an hour of taking it, it was all gone!! I even brought it to the hospital when I was in labor, haha!

But yeah you are supposed to take Zantac.

I love the pictures :)
