Oh my goodness, why didn't we do this sooner? Shifts are wonderful! We are trying to prepare for when Gabe goes back to work so, he took the after 5 a.m. shift and I took the first shift. Which meant sleep from 10:30 p.m. - 1:30 a.m, and 3 - 8 a.m!!! Yahhhoooo! My biggest piece of advice for new twin Mama's is to take shifts.

The boys are great, and learning so much. I have tons of videos and pictures, but for now I am going to cuddle with my boys. I have decided to just spend a good solid two hours in the a.m. on laundry and house work and then... the day is for the boys!

As a mother of three old twins(as of Sunday) shifts made the angels sing down upon us at the beginning. Even better when you can get a third person(my mom who is a real angel I think)and then think of the shifts...loveliness.

Thanks for the advice - we're hoping my twins will come home within the next week or two and I'm so overwhelmed with how to take care of them and get everything done. We'll give shifts a whirl and see how it goes!

Congratulations!!!! They are beautiful and you look like such a gorgeous family!!! Have you even stopped smiling yet? I think I spent the first 3 months smiling and crying. Just so happy to finally be a mother!

I totally love the double sling...I don't think those existed when my babies were little.
